The best part of this newspaper envelope is just you need to have one piece of newspaper and start to fold. It’s very simple basic folding which kids can do it easily however, I am writing this blog keeping kids and beginners in mind.

1. Old Newspaper cut out

Take any old newspaper or any waste paper cutout.

Easy Steps Kids Can Follow to Make a Newspaper Envelope at Home

Just follow these simple steps as given below and your simple and easy newspaper envelope will be ready in no time.

Step 1: Make Use of Old Newspaper Cutout

Take any old newspaper or any other waste paper and cut it into a square shape. However, if you want to make a bigger envelope then take a large size paper.

Step 2: Fold the Newspaper Diagonally

First of all, fold the paper from one corner to another and then open the fold similarly do it for the other side. And then make a proper crease on it. Here you can see a cross-crease in the newspaper.

Step 3: Fold the Corners of the Paper Until the Center Crease

After the diagonal fold holds one corner and fold it until the center line and similarly fold it from the other end. And then make a proper crease on it by putting finger pressure on it.

Step 4: Fold the Base and Use Glue to Stick 

First of all, apply little glue on one side of the paper and place the other side of the paper on it. Allow it to dry for 2 minutes under the fan or room temperature.

Further, you have to fold another corner which seems to be like a base. Fold that corner until the line which you can see in the image below. After that fold the tip of the paper downwards as I have folded.  

Step 5: Fold the Small Part of the Paper Inward

Now here you can see a small size of paper is pooping out, However, you have to just insert it inside and stick it using glue. Allow it to dry for a few seconds or so.

Step 6: Your Quick newspaper Envelope is Ready

Here your envelope is ready in just 5 minutes. You can also make this envelope using different colour paper or patterned paper. To give a surprise to your loved ones you can make a personalized envelope and send it a card putting inside to them.

3. Crease Out Your Envelope

If you feel the newspaper is looking crushed then you can easily cresae it out with light ironing.
